Waverly Excursions
From Late July until the first week of September Waverly Excursions offer cruises from Bristol, Clevedon and Weston-Super-Mare, on their historic passenger ship The Balmoral.
Balmoral has a disabled toilet facility on the main deck. The gangways leading onto the ship are ridged and therefore wheelchair passengers may have to be lifted onto the ship. The crew are happy to assist wheelchair & less-agile passengers to negotiate the different areas of the vessels.
There are only relatively steep stairs leading between the different decks but their crew can help negotiate these areas - and have been doing so for many years. Please ask for any help you may require. Due to weight restrictions on board the ship, they can generally only carry five wheelchairs at any one time. Call in advance if there are any queries.
