A charitable organisation that provides door-to-door accessible transport services for disabled and older people in Bristol, at the cost of a bus fare. Concessionary Travelcards can be used. Assistance is provided by Driver/Escorts and for your comfort and safety all the Minibuses have seat belts and securing systems for wheelchairs. Fully accessible bus service that will divert up to half a mile off the regular route on request if you have difficulty getting to the bus stop, providing door to city centre services. Each bus has a passenger lift and up to four wheelchair spaces and an escort is on hand if required. There is no membership scheme and fares charged are similar to those on other bus services
Taxi-Sharing is a new transport service for residents of Barton Hill, St Philip's and St Anne's. If you live in these areas, you can use it to travel by taxi for short local journeys, at a cost of just 50p per journey. The service is available from 07:00 to 19:00, 7 days a week.
Journeys must be booked in advance with the operator, Swift Line Taxis, and must be within the Taxi-Sharing area, as shown on the Taxi-Sharing Map. You can also use the service to link up with rail services at Lawrence Hill and Temple Meads stations, or to connect with local bus services. Swift Line will match people’s journey requests where possible, so you are likely to be asked to share the taxi with other people making similar journeys.
The Usbus is a local community minibus that makes inner city accessible by providing you with affordable,reliable and frequent transport. Each journey begins on the hour at Bristol Community Transport and travels through the neighbourhoods of Lawrence Hill, Barton Hill, Easton, St Werburghs and St Pauls.

HWCP set up a community bus service using a fully accessible minibus because public transport, accessibility and mobility were all established as important issues for local people. The service links less accessible areas with mainstream transport service routes and local places of activity.
Membership is at present open to anyone over 16 living in Hartcliffe & Withywood and costs £2.50 per year. Travel tokens are available at most local retail outlets in multiples of five costing £2.50 for adults and £1.25 for children.

Bristol Dial A Ride provides door to door accessible transport services, at the cost of a bus fare, for disabled and older people with mobility impairment in Bristol. They can travel anywhere within the Bristol area. The Driver/Escort is there to provide a safe comfortable journey and whatever assistance is required, including carrying shopping etc. Passengers need to register with Dial A Ride, and then telephone to make travel bookings.
