Buses

In Bristol the majority of buses are operated by low floor vehicles, and are accessible to wheelchairs; however not all bus stops have the necessary raised kerbs for boarding. Please be aware that occasionally a bus may arrive which does not have a low floor. Find out bus services details in public transport.

Park & Ride

Bristol has three Park & Rides sites that offer comfortable, frequent and easy ways to travel into Bristol. All buses are operated by low floor vehicles, and are accessible to wheelchairs.

Concessionary travel

If you don’t yet have a concessionary bus pass and you believe you are entitled to one and live in Bristol, please go to the Concessionary travel page for eligibility. The All England Travelcard entitles holders to free off-peak travel on local buses anywhere in England. The only bus services not included are the Bristol and Bath Open Top City Tours.
